The Gerber Gator fillet knives have full tang stainless steel blades; tempered to hold an edge, yet retain an amazing amount of flex, critical in a good fillet knife.
The blades are embedded in a soft Kraton rubber handle, the perfect grip material for a fillet knife. Kraton provides a positive, comfortable grip, even when wet. The knife comes with a hard molded plastic sheath that provides safety and convenience.
There is also a ceramic sharpener in the tip of the sheath making edge touch-up quick and easy. All Gerber fillet knives are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
