The AR 3.50 is an exciting new knife from Gerber Legendary Blades that combines excellent materials with unique design features. Designed by Gerber engineers and made overseas, the AR 3.50 has premium features found on cutlery much more expensive.
The handle is made from aircraft grade aluminum, and has Kraton® rubber inserts on the side and on the top that are molded through the aluminum. This guarantees that the inserts will not work loose over time. The handles are elctro-coated either champagne, or matte black finish. A removable pocket clip is fastened to the handle.
The blade is made of 440A stainless steel, and has a right and left thumb stud for easy opening. Blades are available partially serrated or without serrations. The blade rides on two Teflon washers for a lifetime so smooth opening and use. Once opened, the blade solidly locks in place with a linerlock mechanism made of stainless steel.
