Gerber Knives. One Of The Most Trusted Outdoor Knives In The World
When you think of the great outdoors you think of Gerber knives. Why?
Gerber knives are built for that special person who doesn't just rely on modern convience. This person is self reliant and doesn't mind a little hard work and ingenuity. Gerber knives are made for this type of individual!
Back in 1910 Joseph Gerber started Gerber Advertising in Portland, Oregon. He later hired a local knifemaker to craft 25 sets of kitchen cutlery as gifts for some of Mr. Gerber's clients. The knives were a hit! Mr. Gerber left his ad agency and launched Gerber Legendary Blades in 1939. Imagine, a man with a simple idea turned it into a huge business that serves so many outdoor loving people!
Some of the more well known designers of Gerber knives are Ernie Emerson of Emerson knives and Chief Jim Watson, QMCS, USN Retired. Mr. Watson was a founding member of SEAL Team 2. When an ex Navy SEAL puts his heart and dedication into designing a knife you better believe it will be tough as nails!
Why invest in a Gerber knife? Well aside from the reputation of some of the people that design them Gerber has proven time and time again since 1939 that they are superior when it comes to the demanding world of the great outdoors. From hunting to camping you will find a knife that fits your need. Browse the catalog below and place your order today!
