90WH War Hammer - With the advent of plate armor, the war hammer was designed to allow a relatively unskilled soldier to vanquish a fully armored opponent. the Cold Steel War Hammer features a 1 1/2'' square face and a 3 1/2'' spike (7 3/8'' from face to tip) For toughness, it is drop forged out of 5150 steel and differentially heat treated. The handle is 30" of straight grain American hickory with the same steel langettes that appear on the Battle Axe. (Some assembly is required. Instructions are included).
